Hello AI Enthusiasts,
Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of All Things AI this spring and the All Things AI Live Meetups. It has been one of the best things we’ve done in our careers, and we are so happy that you made it a success.
Going forward, we’ll be sending a regular newsletter with special offers and events that we think our community will find value in. We’ll still post to Meetup.com as well, but their website isn’t always the most dependable for communications, so we will try to send a limited number of emails to keep you in the loop on AI in the Triangle and our online events.
Also, our original event was called All Things Open AI. We strongly believe in open. That’s open source. Open standards. And an open, inclusive community.
However, there is another company called OpenAI and which can lead to confusion with the All Things Open AI naming. So with the same open ethos will continue to embody those principles but under the brand All Things AI.
The new website URL is https://allthingsai.org, and we have made some updates to reflect that on the website. More events to come.

All Things AI: AI Forward, an AI event for Business Leaders
We are partnering with Cognifyd to put on AI Forward, a smaller executive-focused conference in Charlotte, NC. Due to very limited space, we only have 250 seats, and it’s focused on more senior leaders. However, we will be doing other events focused on Sales and Marketing, Developers, and others, so don’t feel like you will miss out. Also, we will be doing a day of training for Directors, CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and senior technical contributors, delivered by DevOps Handbook co-author, John M. Willis.
We are seeking speakers to speak to both executives and technical leaders on how to deploy and leverage AI.
Free Virtual Conference: The New Normal: Normalizing AI Enterprise Architecture
We conducted a live workshop at the Confidential Computing Summit in June with the founder of CrewAI, Langchain, Nvidia, Galileo, IBM, DevOps icon John Willis, and Accenture. The topic was how to deploy AI infrastructure securely and responsibly, you don’t want to miss these sessions from the best in the industry. Sign up for the on-demand conference for free and get an exclusive invite to the live Q&A session with the speakers. (Scroll down the landing page to see the workshop, but you are also able to access all the Confidential Computing Summit content there.)

Save the Date: All Things AI, March 22-23, Durham, NC
We had such a good time, we are going to run it back! Next year, we are going to be back and 4x bigger at the Carolina and Durham Convention Center. So save the date, March 23rd and 24th, and we’ll be updating you as details are available.
Recap of All Things Open AI 2026
We learned a lot from this year’s event. Like we need to work with the City of Durham to get folks parked more quickly, or we need more coffee, and bigger rooms for the sessions.
We also know that we need to look at training rooms with better wifi and desks. We are trying to make those improvements to make next year even better. We are dedicated to improving, so if you wouldn’t mind, please share your thoughts, and give us a testimonial and candid feedback so we can improve.

Here’s what we accomplished together:
