The Lunch and Learns are rolling, and the tokenomics session everyone's signing up for is five days out.

Two weeks ago we told you the Lunch and Learn series was coming back. You answered loudly: 270 seats claimed across the four sessions before the first one even ran. Tuesday we kicked things off with Vibe Coding for Business Users, and the calendar between now and mid-September is the busiest this community has been since the conference. If you only do one thing with this email — grab your seat for the sessions that are left.

Three Lunch and Learns Left

Tuesday's opener — Vibe Coding for Business Users — drew 65 of you, and then the tech gods had opinions. We hit audio problems and streaming problems partway through and cut it short. We are working to make sure this never happens again.

But if you'd like to view the slides, they are available here.

Fair trade: we're running the whole thing again on September 15 as Vibe Coding, Take Two, no charge, and everyone who registered for round one keeps their seat. If you missed it entirely, that's your session.

Tuesday, September 1 — Tokenomics 101

The runaway favorite at 85 going. Guest speaker Don Shin, CEO of CrossComm, on why your AI bill climbs while the subscription price doesn't.

Tuesday, September 8 — Build Skills

Teach your AI agents how you work, then chain skills into full pipelines.

Tuesday, September 15 — Vibe Coding, Take Two

Ship an AI-built app you can trust with real customers, minus the jargon.

Atlanta: The First 100 Seats Are Going

Build an Agent Day — the workshop that put 116 builders in a room in Charlotte — lands at Atlanta Tech Village in Buckhead on Monday, November 16. Early-bird is $297 for the first 100 registrants ($397 after), and most employers reimburse it under professional development. If Atlanta is drivable for you or your team — this is the one to expense.

The AI Economy Is Being Built in Your Backyard

Q2 2026: $855.5 million across 26 Triangle deals — the strongest quarter since 2024

Here's a number to drop at your next coffee meeting: $855.5 million. That's the venture capital that flowed into Triangle companies in the second quarter, across just 26 deals — the region's strongest quarter since 2024, according to Technical.ly. The quarter before, it was $183.8 million.

And the money isn't chasing the old SaaS playbook. This quarter led with AI-native startups, biotech, and advanced manufacturing — headlined by Vulcan Elements' $430.7 million round to build rare-earth magnets right here in North Carolina. All told, the Triangle pulled in 84% of every venture dollar invested in the state. I've watched tech money for 30 years, and it usually buys a plane ticket to one of the coasts first. This time it's parking in our zip codes.

Why does this belong in an events email? Because every one of those funded companies will be hiring people who can put AI to work — and the fastest way to be one of them is reps. That's what the Lunch and Learns are, that's what the meetups are, and that's what the conference is. The AI economy isn't only being built in San Francisco — a serious piece of it is being built twenty minutes from your house.

📬 Since Your Last Email: Two Weeks of The AI Enterprise

If you're newer here, some context: All Things AI is part of The AIE Network — our family of AI publications read by more than 250,000 business professionals. The flagship is The AI Enterprise, and it covers one thing: putting AI to work in your business, without the hype.

It ships four editions a week — AI Tangle rounds up the news that matters, AI Lessons teaches one hands-on skill, AI Advantage hands decision-makers a tactic they can deploy the same day, and AI Deep Dive takes the long view on one hard question. Here's what the last two weeks looked like, all free to read:

Week of August 17 — Own What AI Builds for You

The training wheels came off — AI agents went autonomous by default — so we spent the week on ownership: making sure the apps AI builds for you are apps you actually control.

Week of August 24 — The Money and the Rules Showed Up

Nvidia's big print, a $7 billion acquisition, and an IPO date — while the EU's transparency rules quietly took effect. We covered the audit, the policy, and the strategy.
