Todd and Mark each built something meaningful before they ever built something together.
Todd was the founder of All Things Open, one of the largest open source technology conferences in the U.S. He built it from the ground up—brick by brick, talk by talk—into a gathering place for developers, architects, and tech leaders who believed that open collaboration was the future of software.
Mark built The Artificially Intelligent Enterprise, a weekly publication and executive community focused on helping business leaders understand, adopt, and operationalize AI. He translated model development into strategic value, turning hype into process and architecture that enterprise teams could execute.
Two builders. Different domains. Shared values.
By 2024, both were seeing the same trend: AI was moving fast—but understanding, adoption, and trust were lagging behind. Practitioners were overwhelmed by tooling. Business leaders were flooded with noise. The gap between capability and clarity was growing.
